Joanne Pitkin

Allison joined UPS Canada as Director of Public Affairs in 2016. She covers international trade, customs, transportation and labour policy, as well as federal government relations. Prior to joining UPS, she held senior public affairs roles with the Mental Health Commission of Canada and the Canadian Union of Public Employees, and served as a speechwriter and press secretary on Parliament Hill under former Official Opposition Leader Jack Layton. She holds degrees from McGill and Queen’s Universities.
