U.S. Commerce Assistant Secretary Visits Canada

AmCham Canada was pleased to host a roundtable discussion with Arun Venkataraman Assistant Secretary for Global Markets and Director General of the U.S. Commercial Service at the U.S. Embassy in Ottawa on September 4th. The Roundtable focused on Canada's digital agenda and opportunities for promoting alignment between the United States and Canada on digital policy to ensure interoperability between the world's two closest trading partners.

The Roundtable served as a prelude to a series of meetings between Assistant Secretary Venkataraman and senior Canadian government officials in Ottawa.
