AmCham Canada hosts U.S. Chamber of Commerce

AmCham Canada was pleased to host our friends and partners from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Ottawa from October 23-25, 2025 for key meetings with Canadian and U.S. government officials. At this challenging time in the U.S. - Canada relationship the importance of continued conversation and dialogue on a path forward to expanded trade, security and prosperity for our nations cannot be be understated.

Special thanks go out to the Minister for Canada-U.S. Trade and Intergovernmental Affairs, Internal Trade and One Canadian Economy Dominic LeBlanc for welcoming our delegation and to other leaders across the Carney government at agencies which included Finance Canada / Finances Canada, Industry Science and Economic Development Canada, Public Services and Procurement Canada, Health Canada, and PCO.  Thanks as well to Parliamentary members Shelby Kramp-Neuman and Randy Hoback for their insights and engagement.

The success of this visit was only made possible through the close collaboration and partnership of our U.S. Chamber colleagues Neil Herrington, Isabel Quiroz and Anabel Teixeira and their tireless efforts in supporting the U.S. - Canada trade relationship through the Chamber's U.S.-Canada Business Initiative and our valued member companies so deeply committed to the bilateral economic relationship.

Our thanks to the delegation members Catherine Robinson, Nate Giordano, Jeanette Patell, Tiéoulé Traoré, Jennifer Chan, Elise Maheu and Bobby Sutherland.
