Elise Maheu is Business Director, Government Markets & Public Affairs for 3M Canada. 3M is a recognized leader in research and development with $25 billion in sales. 3M employs 75,000 people worldwide and has operations in more than 60 countries. 

Elise is now based in Ottawa and has been with 3M for 21 years. She has held a number of international leadership positions in 3M Europe and 3M Belgium covering Eastern Europe, Middle East and Western Europe. In her current role, she is responsible for Government Markets and Public Affairs across all sectors of the company.  She is the senior relationship manager for government officials. Her responsibilities include being 3M Canada’s primary liaison with all government’s jurisdictions across Canada in the areas of business development, government relations and advocacy, to create and enhance value for the company and its businesses as well as leading 3M’s position on public affairs issues. Elise is a board member of the American Chamber of Commerce. She is also a member of several industry associations representing 3M’s interest in various sectors.
