On April 29th 2026 representatives of AmCham Canada’s National Energy Security Committee conducted a roundtable discussion with United States Trade Representative (USTR) Jamieson Greer in Washington, D.C. AmCham member participants included leading U.S.-Canada oil and gas, nuclear, critical minerals, and energy infrastructure companies who discussed current and potential projects focused at strengthening U.S.- Canada and North American energy dominance.
The objective of the roundtable was to demonstrate the inextricably intertwined and mutually beneficial U.S.-Canada energy relationship, to highlight major current and proposed projects and the billions of dollars of investments that support energy dominance, and to discuss the potential trade-related enhancements needed to advance these activities.
The roundtable successfully focused attention on the importance of the bilateral energy relationship and the need to continue advance a positive and collaborative dialogue in support of the U.S.-Canada energy and critical minerals trade relationship.
