Luncheon with AmCham, The Consul General of the United States and the Chambre de Commerce de Sherbrooke

The consul general of the United States, Ms. Nina Maria Fite, and members of various sections of the Consulate General of the United States in Montreal, will discuss how the Consulate can assist business members of the Chambre de Commerce de Sherbrooke.

Presentations will be provided by Consulate sections such as Political/Economics, Commercial, Customs and Border Control, and Consular. AmCham Canada's Québec chapter is proud to partner with the Chambre de Commerce de Sherbrooke for this event.

Guest Speaker: Nina Maria Fite, Consul General of the United States in Montreal

Nina Maria Fite became the United States Consul General in Montreal on September 9, 2014. Before Montreal, she served as Consul General in Lahore, Pakistan from September, 2011 to May, 2014. A career member of the Senior Foreign Service, she has spent more than 20 years focusing on trade, environmental issues, and post-conflict economic development. Her assignments include serving as the Deputy Economic Counselor in Kabul, Afghanistan and as the Political/Economic Section Chief in Luanda, Angola. A native Pennsylvanian, Consul General Fite completed a Bachelor of Architecture at Carnegie-Mellon University and holds a Master’s in International Management from Thunderbird – The American Graduate School of International Management. She speaks Portuguese, French, Hungarian and Spanish.
