The event will feature a discussion on the ways the IP provisions of the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) will stimulate innovation and creativity, foster regional economic growth, and support North America’s global competitiveness. The GIPC will share the findings of the 2019 International IP Index, which assesses the strength of Canada’s IP framework relative to its neighbors and trading partners and includes analysis on the USMCA’s IP chapter.
