NAFTA Workshop and Governor of Nebraska's Luncheon

U.S. Minister Counselor for Agricultural Affairs, Acting – Eric Wenberg - is pleased to announce the Ontario visit of the two-way trade and investment mission from the State of Nebraska during the week of August 7th, 2017. Governor Pete Ricketts of the State of Nebraska will lead the 10 member private public sector mission with a particular focus on the food processing and distribution warehousing sectors.

Located in the heart of the NAFTA corridor, Canada is Nebraska’s largest trading partner and fourth largest agriculture export market. As Governor Ricketts recently stated, “Nebraska exports $ 8.5 billion (US) worth of total exports every year, making international two way trade a vital part of the state’s economy".

On Wednesday, August 9th there is an opportunity for Canadian and U.S. business leaders to participate in a workshop and luncheon that will focus on the future of NAFTA. Both events will take place at the National Club, 303 Bay Street, Toronto, Ontario.
