Executive plans 2016 Program
Recently the Executive of the Toronto-GTA Chapter of AmCham Canada met at the National Club to prepare tentative plans for the 2016 calendar year.  A number of program opportunities were discussed which included suggestions from the membership and activities planned by the U.S. Consulate / Toronto and the U.S. Embassy. The Chapter’s Managing Council will review and provide input at its September meeting. Members wishing to provide ideas for the coming year are asked to contact the Chapter Chair Robert Bathgate at 1-888-390-2751.  

Guest of CUSBA Reception 
Robert Bathgate, Chair of the Past President’s Council and the Toronto-GTA Chapter of AmCham Canada was a guest of CUSBA at its members summer reception in Detroit, Michigan on Tuesday, August 25, 2015. Joining Chairman Bob was Craig Price of Jobs Ohio. Jobs Ohio is the newest member of the Chapter and AmCham Canada. During the reception, Bob and Craig had an opportunity to discuss potential joint programs with Mark High, the Chair of CUSBA (Dickinson Wright PC) and met with Consul General Douglas George; & Consul and Senior Trade Commissioner Genevieve Dionne of the Consulate General of Canada based in Detroit.

On Monday, August 17, Chapter Chair Robert Bathgate met with Andrea Gorog (Chief of Political and Economic Affairs), Eric Crowley (Commercial Officer) and their team to review program opportunities between the Consulate and AmCham Canada. Stay tuned for an active 2017.
