SAGE Fall 2016 Meeting Announced - October 5 in Washington D.C.

AmCham Canada is pleased to announce that the Fall meeting of U.S.-Canada S.A.G.E. will be held on October 5, 2016 from 9:30 AM-4:30 PM at the Johns Hopkins Berstein-Offit Building in Washington, D.C. Registration is free but Required   

Many thanks to Dr. Chris Sands, Director at Johns Hopkins SAIS Center for Canadian Studies for agreeing to host this event.   

The S.A.G.E. meeting will be a “workshop” format targeting three broad areas:

1.       Formal Adoption of The Columbus Declaration

2.       Coordination of Post-U.S. Election Events (November-December 2016) and Discussion of 2017 Canada-U.S. organizations’ events

3.       Development of the “S.A.G.E. Platform” for the Trudeau Government, the new U.S. Administration and U.S. Congress, and state/provincial governments, for presentation to the respective decision-makers in early 2017 (i.e., post U.S. inauguration)

The Columbus Declaration With regard to the foregoing, please know that (1) we have received a number of constructive comments regarding The Columbus DeclarationWe will be circulating a final version in advance of the October 5 meeting and utilize the workshop for formal authorization and release.  Accordingly, all discussion/debate regarding The Columbus Declaration will be finalized pre-workshop.
