Ambassador Doer & AmCham Promote Increased Trade in Pittsburgh

Monday, April 14, 2014

Canadian Ambassador to the United States, Gary Doer was in Pittsburgh last week to encourage further interaction and trade between the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and Canada.  Due to the significant amount of trade between these jurisdictions (more than Canada trades with Europe), the Ambassador prioritized this city for the first "Pop-Up Canada" event; a showcase of Canada's culture, energy and cuisine.  The American Chamber of Commerce in Canada was represented by Clark Grue, Member of the Executive Committee of the National Board. The event was complete when Lord Stanley's Cup arrived for the many hockey fans to see up close.
