AMCHAM Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of U.S. Ambassador David Jacobson as its Honourary Chair. “Ambassador Jacobson will bring a wealth of experience to the role of Honourary Chair,” said Robert Bathgate, AMCHAM Canada President. “We are excited to be working with the Ambassador to expand awareness of Canada-U.S. trade and business, and the tremendous opportunities that flow from it.”
As Honourary Chair, Ambassador Jacobson will help build relationships between business leaders and lend support to AMCHAM Canada events and members. “I’m very pleased to accept my new role with AMCHAM Canada,” said Ambassador Jacobson. “I look forward to being part of a dynamic organization that promotes cross-border business opportunities between two of the world’s great trading and commercial partners. This is especially important given the President's initiative to increase exports from small and medium sized businesses.”
