The American Chamber of Commerce in Canada, Quebec Chapter is proud to be a partner of the
2017 US Canadian SUMMIT Montreal on June 15 2017.

The accounting firms Crowe BGK, Crowe Soberman and Crowe Mackay have partnered with The American Chamber of Commerce in Canada - Quebec Chapter together with six other American accounting firms from key economic centers in the US to hold a panel discussion on Expanding your Business North/South of the Border. The panel will include Julie Lessard, Co-Char of AmCham and Partner at BCF Avocats, Stephanie Murphy, Project Manager, Americas Asia Division at Investissement Quebec and Marc Bélanger, Partner at DS Avocats. The moderator for the evening will be William Polushin, Founder and President of Amaxis.

Two business people will also share their story of expanding their business from Canada to the US and the US to Canada. While we hear the challenges and discoveries they experienced, our panelists who are all subject-matter experts in foreign businesses starting operations in Canada and/or the US, will react to these challenges and discoveries by providing advice and guidance for audience members to avert certain challenges/issues and create a smoother experience for businesses considering expansion into the US or Canada.

Audience members will walk away with a better understanding of relevant things to consider when expanding to a foreign territory, such as Canada or the US. The panelists will help you identify if you are ready to go cross-border, along with advice and best practices to successfully accomplish it.

A networking cocktail will follow the panel discussion.
